STAFF from Sainsbury’s have been getting their hands dirty as they help children plant trees.
Debby Bridger and Stuart Purdie from Sainsbury’s in Alton visited Butts Primary School on Friday when they took part in the Woodland Trust’s planting initiative.
The crab apple, rowan and hazel trees will form part of a new area planned for the school as it makes an effort to encourage children to venture into the great outdoors.
Debby Bridger, community governor at the school, said: “It’s great to see the children getting outside to further their learning and we are pleased to be able to help with this.”
