THE WOOLMER Forest Lions have pulled off a festive coup as they’ve persuaded Santa to visit a Lindford pub tomorrow.

Santa Claus will bring gifts for children and plenty of Christmas cheer to the Royal Exchange this Tuesday, December 19.

He will arrive at 3pm by sleigh with the Lions providing logistical support for their special visitor from the North Pole.

Wrapped presents will be handed out between 4pm and 6pm while the festivities will continue into the evening with the All Saints Church choir singing carols from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Mulled wine will be available while charity collection buckets will go around the pub throughout the afternoon and evening.

There’s more good news for revellers as Lindford Road has temporarily reopened, so there’s no excuse for not dropping in and enjoying the festivities.
