SOUTH Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS) is holding the second of its annual recruitment open days on Saturday (January 27) at its headquarters in Otterbourne.
Jobseekers, people returning to work after a career break or anyone looking to change careers can meet SCAS staff and the recruitment team to discover the range of clinical and non-clinical vacancies available.
The event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, is organised on a drop-in basis and will give people the chance to discover what it’s really like to work for one of the country’s best ambulance services.
There will also be opportunities to see live demonstrations and Trust vehicles, and to take tours around the clinical co-ordination and contact centres, while human resources representatives will be on hand to give advice on how to apply for current vacancies.
For students currently studying for or considering their subject options at GCSE and A-Level, the education team will be giving talks about the various routes to becoming a paramedic.
SCAS currently has a number of emergency and non-emergency roles, as well as clinical and non-clinical jobs, it is recruiting for to. As well as the roles located at Southern House, other roles available at ambulance stations and other bases across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and Sussex.
