ALL Saints Church at Farringdon held its annual pet service on Sunday, May 1, attracting a good turnout of village folk and their beloved animals.
The service was led by Susan Fifield and there was a short talk by Antonia Nichols on being a vet and the sort of animal complaints she mostly sees.
After two appropriate hymns, the Reverend Cannon Roger Job led the congregation in some prayers before blessing the animals – all 14 of them, which ranged from a Great Dane to a small pet rabbit!
Family services in Farringdon are held on the first Sunday of each month from 10am to 10.30am.
