SIX people have been arrested on suspicion of affray involving high-powered catapults at Wickham Horse Fair on Monday.

Three people were taken to hospital between 11.30am and 11.50am, in the area of The Square at Wickham. They have since been discharged.

The six men, all from Southampton, have been released on bail until next week pending enquiries.

A 51-year-old woman from Southampton has also been arrested and remains in police custody.

Det Con Chris Phillips said: "I reassure the community that no firearms were used. If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact us."
