M&S staff stepped up to the plate by raising £179 for the British Heart Foundation with an in-store challenge that involved customers placing a sticker on the picture of a model to raise awareness of the work of the charity in fighting heart disease.
Each sticker attracted a £1 donation, and the winner, drawn at random, received a bottle of bubbly.
M&S staff Jemma Percy, Leonie Warner and Mandy Jordan are pictured with British Heart Foundation representative Alison Goldsworthy, whose brother died of a heart attack last year at the age of 46.
She said this was the reason she now works for the charity.
