THE Alton and North East Hampshire Agricultural Show 2012 was a real winner.

In the main the rain held off, encouraging thousands of people to flock to Froyle Park to admire the animals and enjoy the entertainment.

And they weren't disappointed. From the outset this Show had all the hallmarks of a friendly and inclusive event with almost as many dogs as people there to soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the Hampshire countryside. Run by the North East Hampshire Agricultural Association it ticked all the boxes as a great agricultural event – offering education and entertainment in equal measure and bags of interactive fun.
