REMEMBRANCE Sunday service at St Mary's Church in Bramshott saw the church filled to capacity for a shortened service, necessitated by ongoing roof repair works.

Under blue skies and in bright sunlight, standards were paraded into the church led by the Union Flag carried by Heather Miller with escorts Maisie Ord and Amy Walker.

A two-minute silence was observed at 11am after which Alan Geddes spoke of the horrors of war seen by his father, who participated both in the Retreat from Mons at the start of the First World War and also fought in the Second World War.
