Whitehill town mayor Cllr Leeroy Scott has met all sorts of people and animals during his term in office.

But he had a new experience when he was introduced to a snake at the St Matthew’s CE Primary School summer fair in Blackmoor on June 24.

Town council leader Cllr Andy Tree said: “We try to support all our local schools as best we can – and Leeroy made a new friend!”
