Two suspected drug dealers were arrested on Saturday following a stake out at the Winchester Road car park in Chawton.

A 27-year-old man from Liverpool and a 28-year-old man from Alton were arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class A drug with police finding “a substantial amount of cash” in their vehicle. 

The latter was also arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle while being under the influence of drugs, with the pair being given conditional bail.
