Tickets are now on sale for the Farnham Fireworks & Torchlit Procession, taking place this year on Saturday, November 4 in aid of local good causes.
The popular annual event is organised by Farnham Round Table and raises thousands of pounds every year for an array of causes ranging from families in need to schools and charities.
It is supported this year by gold sponsors Guardian Angel Carers, silver sponsors Moran Roofing and bronze sponsors Crest Nicholson.
There will be live entertainment including returning ska band Jungle Brew and fire performers, a food village catering for all tastes and Hogs Back Brewery bar from 5pm to 9pm in Farnham Park.
A highlight of the evening will be the torchlit procession led by the Reading Pipers Band, starting from the Waggon Yard car park at 6.15pm.
The winners of the guy competition will be announced before the lighting of the bonfire at 7.15pm. A spectacular 15-minute fireworks display will follow at 7.45pm, followed by more live music until 9pm.
Torches, as well as tickets, must be bought in advance online this year at http://bit.ly/farnham-fireworks
Tickets have been frozen at 2022 prices, with cheaper advance tickets available until Sunday, October 29 priced at £10 for adults (over 16), £5 for children (aged two to 16), and under-twos free. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are available for £25. Torches cost £5 each.
Nigel Davison, Farnham Round Table chairman, said: “This event is a community initiative organised by Farnham Round Table and 41 Club, with support from volunteers representing Farnham schools, Scouts, Hedgehogs, Farnham Cricket Club, Bourne Blades Football Club and Farnham Tangent. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit local causes within our community.
“We are very grateful to our sponsors Guardian Angel Carers, Moran Roofing Specialists and Crest Nicholson for their investment and collaboration with us in putting on this charity event.”
