WHITEHILL town mayor Cllr Bisi Kennard and her consort, Ashley Kennard, attended a Remembrance Sunday service at St Matthew’s Church in Blackmoor which was led by Revd Alice Wood.

Cllr Kennard laid a wreath at the war memorial at the church on behalf of the town council and the local community.

The mayor’s cadet, Flt Sgt Nicholas Tate of the Bordon and District Air Cadets, accompanied the mayor at the Armistice Day service in Bordon and the Remembrance Sunday service held at St Matthew’s Church.

Standard bearers from The Royal British Legion, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and the Bordon and District Air Cadets were on parade at both of the services.
