THE keys to two new minibuses were handed over to Treloar College students and staff at Brands Hatch at the manufacturers open day.
Treloar's is the first charity to have an all-wheel drive bus for students and staff.
The choice of all-wheel drive has created a lot of industry interest as most charities only purchase back-wheel drive vehicles.
With bad weather in the winter and this area being semi-rural, the roads can be a challenge for transporting students to their studies at Alton College or other colleges in Farnham and Farnborough.
Main roads are often cleared but side roads are not. The new all-wheel drive bus will be safer in subdued weather and help get staff to work and students to college and work placements in the more severe weather.
