WHITEHILL village hall bosses are asking would-be trustees to step forward.
Major refurbishments have increased bookings of both the main hall and a smaller activity room over recent months, with its management committee describing it as “a vibrant, well-maintained and financially-viable community venue”, with yet more improvements in the pipeline.
Works to the car park are planned this summer, funded by the Awards for All Big Lottery Fund, Hampshire County Council, the Bernard Sunley Charity, East Hampshire District Council and the hall’s income.
The hall committee’s AGM on Tuesday, at 7.30pm, will report on the wide range of activities held in the hall and plans for the future.
The committee would welcome to the meeting any residents or business representatives who might consider becoming trustees during the coming year. For more details, call Val Bywater on 01420 362123.
