Broadlands Equine Therapy and Riding for the Disabled Association in Medstead raised an extra £31,500 in 2025 to celebrate its 70th birthday.
It beat its £30,000 target, and the additional cash bought two new ponies - with the team still looking for a third. This money is on top of £120,000 raised for running costs.
Supporters ran marathons, leapt from aeroplanes and walked Hadrian’s Wall. There was a Summer Party, food demonstrations, an online auction and Tea at 3 events where guests met the ponies over tea and cake. The Alton Victorian Cricket Tournament raised £9,000.
A spokesperson said: “From all of us at Broadlands, a huge thank you to everyone who supported us, cheered us on and helped make our 70th anniversary truly unforgettable.”
