THE village of Kingsley will be hosting a traditional fete on Sunday.

Starting at 2pm at the Kingsley United Sports Club, on Sickles Lane, the fete will feature stalls, games, live music, a raffle, tombola, barbecue, teas and a birds of prey display.

All money raised will go toward the upkeep of the sports club which has recently received a new £7,000 roof, paid for by the club.

Built in 1931 and set within beautiful grounds in the village, the clubhouse is now in need of internal refurbishment and work needs to be done to improve the access path to the sports building.
