PHYLLIS Tuckwell Hospice Christmas Lights Tour got into full swing on Saturday, December 4, with 29 homes supporting this year’s campaign for all over the local area from Farnham to Yateley, Guildford to Rowledge.

The Rowledge Support Group have created a winter woodland and Christmas tree display on Boundstone Road, including a memory tree where anyone can leave a message or bauble for a loved one this Christmas.

This year saw members of Rowledge’s St James’ Church youth group lend a hand to the numerous regular supporters to create the festive scene, with the highlight being the youngsters deciding to suspend a very thin looking Father Christmas from a tree.

Mandy Main, the Rowledge Support Group’s chairperson, said: "The Christmas lights tour is always one of our favourite events with lots of friends and neighbours helping to create what we think is a magical sight by night."

The tour runs until December 31. To download a map, log on to pth.org.uk/events and text TWINKLE to 70300 to donate £5 and support local hospice care in your community this Christmas.
