A YELLOW weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for rain in the area.
The warning will be in force throughout the day on Thursday, November 14.
A tweet by the Met Office said: "Further heavy rain on Thursday may lead to flooding and travel disruption.
"Where heavy rain has already fallen there is a short chance of communities being cut off for several days, fast flowing floodwater and damage to buildings."
The warning online states rain will begin in the early hours of Thursday morning, and continue until 11:45pm that night.
