OPEN air cinema will return to The Duke of Cambridge pub in Tilford for the August Bank Holiday weekend – but with a twist!

Following the success of its previous drive-in cinema in April, the Tilford pub has given its movie experience a makeover for summer (and the loosening of restrictions) and will be offering Movies in the Meadows – an open-air summer cinema taking place over four days from August 27 to 30.

And to celebrate, The Duke of Cambridge owners Red Mist Leisure has given the Herald two family tickets (for four people each) to give away in this week’s Herald – pick up your copy of this week’s paper to find out how to enter!

Each showing will enjoy two movies back-to-back – or true film buffs (and sun-worshippers) can book a ticket to enjoy the whole day under the summer sun, enjoying the atmosphere of Tilford’s very own movie festival.

There will be face painters, food stalls, a bar, music in between movies and the pub is hoping for lots of fancy dress and sing-alongs. There will be prizes for the best dressed throughout each day and evening.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the day, and people are welcome to bring their own picnics. Garden tables and chairs will be provided to each group’s plot.

Tickets are available from just £8 per child and £15 per adult, plus there is a premium gazebo group package from £175 for up to eight people, which also includes a drinks package of a bottle of Prosecco, six bottled beers and six soft drinks.
