The young farmers of Petersfield have dung themselves proud as an epic day of delivering manure has raised more than £2,000 for charity.

Oh yez! Petersfield's town crier to ring in 2026 to huge radio audienceProceeds from their annual dung run will be split between the Petersfield Young Farmers Club and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The enthusiastic youngsters – whose average age was under 20 – delivered more than 500 bags of farmyard manure to gardeners and businesses around the Petersfield area throughout one day.
They were sustained by a supply of pastries from Petersfield Hub with the run concluding at Butser Ancient Farm during the afternoon.
Organisers would like to thank the Bridgers of Ashford Farm Turkeys for supplying the manure and everyone who placed an order.
