WOOTEY'S Tiger Club children joined Alton Buckle Community partnership manager Alison Cliffe and colleagues in celebrating a £441,000 Big Lottery Reaching Communities grant to support the Alton Buckle Community Project.
The Tiger (after-school) Club is one of the community groups which meets at the new Alton Buckle Community Building, attached to Wootey Infant School.
The lottery bid, which was led by Wootey Infant School in collaboration with the ABC Partnership, has secured enough funding to ensure the future of family support and enable development of family learning and community-led programmes at the ABC building for the next five years.
