Fawley started well, smashing their way to 50 off the first five overs.
Alton fought back well, and picked up three quick wickets to reduce the visitors to 69 for three. Scott Myers (two for 14) and Dan Sumner were the wicket takers.
Fawley continued to attack and moved to 100 off just 12 overs. Sumner then removed Raminder Singh for 25 and Alton began to gain control as 108 for four became 108 for six.
Sumner took four wickets to finish with impressive figures of four for 18 off his four overs.
Dan Scott (two for 34) returned to the attack and had Dave Streather stumped by Mark Heffernan for 24 and bowled Kieran Coxall for a duck as the visitors stumbled to 137 for eight off their allotted 20 overs.
Alton’s chase got off to a flyer as Heffernan and Dan Harris blasted their way to 50 off just 21 balls.
There was no let up for the visitors as the partnership reached three figures in the eighth over.
Harris reached his half-century in just 25 balls and continued to attack, hitting two maximums and another boundary. He was eventually stumped for an explosive 68 off 33 balls that included 11 fours and two sixes.
Heffernan himself then moved to his half-century off just 32 balls, which included four fours and three sixes.
He ended on 51 not out as he and Bash Walters (two not out) saw the Brewers home in just 11 overs.
