Farnham Fireballs under-16s and under-19s were crowned national champions at the UK Floorball Finals in Cheltenham.
For the under-16 squad it was a continuation of an excellent run of results which has seen them win every single game over the past two seasons in all competitions.
At Cheltenham they got through a tough first game against Cotswold Hornets, winning 2-1.
The under-16s then took control of the competition and went through their remaining games without conceding, to finish top of the table with 14 goals scored and only one conceded.
To round off their trophy haul, the under-16s’ George McGowan was named leading goalie in the competition and Rasmus Hermansson was joint-leading scorer.
This was enough to earn a second-place finish for the young Farnham squad.
Their silver medals were a fair reward for their continuous improvement this season.
Farnham’s Daniel Ahto was the leading scorer in this age group.
Farnham under-19s also emerged as national champions.
Fielding a relatively young team, Farnham started with a very intense tied game against a strong Hawick Hawks side from Scotland.
Both teams went on to win their other matches, with Farnham edging out the Scots on goal difference to claim the title.
Farnham’s Will Rixon was the leading scorer in the under-19 competition.
Club chairman Dean Smith said: “It was very exciting to see Farnham teams not only win their titles, but to play with some style as a team.
“The trophies and individual awards are always nice, but it’s also important that our players all enjoyed the event.
“It makes us keener than ever to grow this sport in the UK and to attract more new players to our club.”
New players of all abilities, aged eight to 14, will be very welcome for the new season starting in September.
