THE 36th annual Brooks Fleet Half Marathon will not take place until March 19, but entries are flooding in and race director Penny Abbott is urging runners to apply early.
“Every year, the event seems to get more popular, so we are encouraging runners to enter early so they are not disappointed,” she said.
“We believe Fleet is the small town race with a big race feel. We are in the midst of a running boom following the enormous success of park run events and other local races. We are traditionally one of the big spring warm-up races.”
