BADSHOT Lea, after losing for the first time in 15 matches the previous week, responded by putting five goals past Kensington Borough on Saturday.

It was back to business as usual as Nick Thumwood scored after just two minutes and then Will Neville doubled the lead on 20 minutes.

Kensington held out until half-time and for 17 minutes of the second half before Ben Hutchings got on the scoresheet.

Thumwood soon added a fourth goal for Badshot Lea and then Hamza Miezou scored a late consolation goal for the home side.

But there was still time for Michael Lacey to score the best goal of the game with a thunderous shot into the back of the net.

Badshot Lea, third in the Combined Counties Division?One, remain level on points with Sheerwater who have played two games more.

The Baggies entertain Raynes Park Vale at Camberley’s Krooner Park this Saturday.
