GARY Waddock has released four Aldershot Town players at the end of their contracts and remains in discussion with several other members of his squad.
Defender Tim Schmoll, midfielder James Rowe and wingers Josh McQuoid and Bobby-Joe Taylor will all leave the EBB Stadium.
In addition, defender Cheye Alexander and midfielder Jim Kellermann have informed the manager they wish to further their careers with other clubs.
Former West Ham academy graduate Alexander, a near ever-present this season with his adventurous wing-back forays, has played 146 games for the club since joining on non-contract terms in February 2015.
Swiss centre-back Schmoll departs without having played for the first team.
Kellermann, a crowd favourite for his tireless work in midfield, made 75 appearances in two seasons, having joined Aldershot in July 2016 from the Wolves academy, while Rowe played 45 games, including 31 starts, after a successful trial period last summer.
Former Maidstone winger Bobby-Joe Taylor made 26 appearances for the club this season, with McQuoid playing 16 games after joining from Luton in January 2018.
