LIPHOOK 7, Clanfield 2. Liphook moved up to third in the Puma Hampshire Premier League, a point ahead of Clanfield after thumping their local rivals 7-2 at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.

The home team scored twice inside the first ten minutes through Steve Harding and Ryan Angear and Toby Hutchins made it 3-0 with only 20 minutes gone.

Goals from Elliot Sills and Darren Ferguson pulled it back to 3-2 at half-time, but Liphook hit four more without reply in the second half. Marcus Bedford and Harding scored in quick succession. Bedford then got the sixth and Harding converted a late penalty to complete his hat-trick.

Moulay Ousman scored for Liss Athletic in their 1-1 draw away to QK?Southampton.

Richard McCann led the way with a hat-trick as Four Marks consolidated their lead in Division?One with a 5-2 victory at Netley Central. Sean Annells and Tom Reffell also scored for Marks and Charlie Hinge and Chris Skilton replied for the home side.

Basement side AFC Petersfield went down 4-1 at Michelmersh & Timsbury and fellow strugglers Headley lost 3-1 away to Sway.
