LIPHOOK United gained a psychological advantage by winning a dress-rehearsal for the final of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup, and inflicting only a third defeat of the season on Paulsgrove

Goals either side of half-time from Oli Page and Steve Harding gave Liphook a 2-0 victory and they will be in good heart for the County Cup final next Friday (May 4) when they meet Paulsgrove at Havant & Waterlooville FC (ko 7.45pm).

Infinity regained top spot in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division with a 4-0 win over Clanfield. Filipos Terzidis (2), Callum Parker and Jamie White all scored in the first half.

Netley Central, meanwhile, secured the Division One title with a 3-0 win at Four Marks, the only side who could have caught them. Matt Watts (2) and Alex White scored the goals.

On Wednesday (May 2), Four Marks bid to reach the Aldershot Intermediate Cup final when they play Ripley Village in the semi-finals. The game will be played at Woking FC (ko 7.45). The other semi-final will be between Headley and West End.

Headley’s fine late-season form continued with a 2-1 win at Upham. Steve Brown and Dylan Bonner got the Headley goals.

In last week’s A3 derby, Clanfield won 4-1 at Clanfield, with the prolific Harry Potter scoring twice.
