NON-LEAGUE footballers can start preparing to return to action.
The FA have told clubs they can resume training on July 31, with groups of up to 30 people.
From the following day, Saturday, August 1, competitive matches can take place, including pre-season fixtures, festivals and small-sided competitions.
The FA are also hoping the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup can take place on September 1 – although all these plans will be amended if there is a second wave and lockdown measures are tightened up again.
Paying spectators will be permitted, as long as social-distancing guidelines are followed and no more than six people are in any one group.
Clubs are expected to keep changing rooms closed and players and officials should turn up ready for the game, and then shower at home afterwards.
Clubhouses can open for refreshments and food before and after matches, although social distance guidelines should be followed.
Players and fans should not attend matches if they show any Covid-19 symptoms, including a high temperature, a persistent cough, or losing their sense of smell or taste.
