Petersfield Hockey Club’s women’s first team earned a second successive win with a strong victory at home to Portsmouth.

Petersfield started brightly and took the lead in the seventh minute with a cracker of a shot from Eva Keyes. Portsmouth responded well and equalised in the 18th minute. Petersfield scored four further goals, with Keyes adding three to her tally and Thomas also scoring.

Portsmouth scored two more goals, but Petersfield ran out deserved 5-3 winners.
