A wild meadow planted by Petersfield Golf Club near its 16th tee is bursting into life this summer and pleasing all golfers, members and visitors.

Member Julia Lomax, who took the photo, said: “The meadow is really beautiful and so good for biodiversity.”

Petersfield Golf Club is holding an open day on Saturday, July 29 at 1pm.

Katie said: “The course prepared for our four championship events last week is in excellent condition despite the recent drought – credit to our head greenkeeper Pete Oliver and his team.”
