POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal accident in Hartley Wintney, near Odiham, on Monday.
The collision, involving a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle, happened on the High Street just before 12.30pm. The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.
The A30 High Street was closed at the junctions with Fleet Road and Monachus Lane and was re-opened at around 6pm.
A police spokesman said that anyone who witnessed the collision or has any other information that could assist the investigation, should call 101, quoting Operation Headquarters.
