Drivers will be able to use the A32 in Farringdon again from tomorrow (Friday).
Hampshire County Council is lifting the closure for almost a fortnight –until Tuesday, August 16 – to accommodate the extra traffic that will be generated by the Jalsa Salana and Boomtown festivals.
The A32 is closed while workmen continue with a second phase of a flood alleviation scheme for Lower Farringdon and Chawton Village.
Work began on June 27 and is scheduled to last for 15 weeks, until around October 10.
