CINDERFORD TOWN 2
ALTON TOWN 1
(after extra time)
ALTON Town were beginning to jot down names for a penalty shoot-out, only to have their FA Cup hopes dashed by Cinderford's 6ft 5ins substitute, Lewis Summers, who headed a dramatic 115th-minute winner on Tuesday night.
And so it was Cinderford who earned a home tie with Maidenhead United in the next round, but they were made to fight all the way by Alton who made the better chances on the night and had a great opportunity to make it 2-2 in the dying moments.
