ANSTEY Junior School pupils have continued their recent sporting success with victory at a schools’ dodgeball competition.
Held last Thursday at Eggar’s School, Anstey entered two teams into the competition. The fourteen children, from years five and six, performed admirably in a sport many of them had never played before.
The competition was structured into two leagues of six teams, with an overall play-off match to determine the final standings.
Anstey B finished third in their group before winning a tightly contested play-off to finish fifth out of 12 teams.
But the A team were imperious throughout, winning every one of their six matches to finish with a fantastic unbeaten record.
The A team will now move on to the next level of the competition.
