THE Greater Alton Project coffee morning team at Alton Methodist Church handed over £500 to James Chuter and Angela Carter of Allsports Therapy, who have now raised £1,500 towards the £2,000 needed to buy a defibrillator for the west end of Alton’s High Street.

According to James, the fundraising effort began with Defibruary, encouraging the community to take regular exercise by teaming up with businesses for special fundraising sessions.

The project is being supported by Alton Lions who have already provided two defibrillators in the town. To donate email [email protected].
