Four Marks Primary School’s early years foundation stage team has won the Laying the Foundations Award in Hampshire County Council’s annual Education Awards.

The staff received it in a ceremony at the Great Hall in Winchester co-hosted by Cllr Roz Chadd, executive lead member for children’s services, and Gyles Brandreth.

Their citation read: “The team’s drive and ambition has transformed the foundation stage. They have created a learning environment that is clearly linked to their vision of creativity, independence and challenge for all children.”
