EAST Hampshire District Council has come under fire from Alton Town Council over its "discourteous and inconsiderate" attitude towards grant funding.

The row has erupted over EHDC's insistence that the town council put its hand deeper into its pocket to support Alton Tennis Club with the installation of new floodlights at the club's Chawton Park Road courts.
