AS the recession hits the licensing trade, forcing closures at around 39 pubs a week, Alton and District Licensed Victuallers' Association (LVA) is urging East Hampshire District Council not to charge for outside seating.
And it is asking Alton Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) for support.
