THE annual Alton Victorian charity cricket tournament on the Butts netted £5,000 for St Michael's Hospice.

The cheque was received on behalf of the charity by Sarah Evans, community fundraiser for St Michael's, and Julie Mallinson, who runs the hospice shop in Alton.
