DAVID Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes will be putting the kettle on at developments later this month as they open their doors for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The Heritage Quarter and New Quarter in Bordon will be hosting a fundraising coffee morning on Friday, September 28, from 10am-5pm, as the housebuilders bid to ensure that this year’s event is bigger and better than ever before.

Sales director Michelle Storer said the annual Macmillan Cancer Support event is a key date in the fundraising calendar and the five-star housebuilder is delighted to be inviting people to join in with the drive to generate casj in the ongoing fight against cancer.

Cancer touches so many people’s lives and the coffee morning is a great way for everyone to get involved in the fundraising effort,’’ said Michelle. “Last year, more than £27m was raised through the coffee mornings and we hope to be a part of the effort to break that barrier this year.’’

She said the concept of being involved in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has captured the imagination of everyone within David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes.

“Our sales teams are all keen to host events for visitors and those who have already moved into our developments,’’ she said.
