THE hunt is on for a car driver who hit a swan and left it injured in a ditch.

The swan suffered a broken wing in the incident around 6pm on October 4 on the A31 Farnham to Alton road, near The Bull Inn at Bentley.

It was picked up by officers from HART Wildlife Rescue at Medstead and taken to the Cedar Veterinary Group in Alton for emergency treatment.
