A campaigner will bring “another pair of hands and lots of enthusiasm” to the table after landing a place on Four Marks Parish Council.

Jane Thomson was unanimously co-opted by FMPC after telling councillors at their last meeting that she “wants to help the community of Four Marks.”

She also told councillors she has worked as a gardener and has collaborated with farmers through work, so has an understanding and passion for the environment.

Her role with action group Fight for Four Marks and a possible conflict of interest was brought up during the discussion, with Jane responding by saying it would not infringe on her role as she would be bound by a PC Code of Conduct as a councillor.
