The Kings Pond Shantymen - a group of singers from Alton, Bordon and Farnham - were recently invited to perform in the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich in the presence of The Princess Royal.
Their performance was enjoyed by 355 guests at a dinner held to commemorate 220 years since the Battle of Trafalgar.
The event was co-organised by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and The White Ensign Association.
Matthew Stuttard - a long-standing member of the group, which has been singing together for more than 20 years - said: “We sing at all sorts of amazing events, but performing in the magnificent Painted Hall was a fantastic opportunity and a huge privilege.”
