A weekend of exhibits will take place in a village hall to mark eight centuries of worship at an East Hampshire church.
Charlemagne was Europe’s main man and Vikings were on the prowl when the first clergy was recorded at St Andrew’s in Medstead.
Thankfully, things are bit more peaceful 800 years on so people connected with the historic church are keen to celebrate the milestone.
People who visit St Andrews from 10am to 5pm next Saturday (June 14) will find a host of exhibits by local organisations along with cakes and teas.
There will also be an art exhibition with more of the same taking place from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, June 15, visit www.standrewsmedstead.co.uk for more details.
