The Holme CE Primary School in Headley opened new climbing frames in the Year R playground on July 19.

They will challenge pupils mentally and physically and were designed by early years head Anna Hotchkiss.

The project also involved caretaker Andy Jaworski, Friends of the Holme, heavy machinery company Altis and manufacturer Pentagon Play.

The opening ceremony was attended by headteacher Sarah Stevenson, Carolyn Elder of the Good Shepherd Trust, Edwin Catt of The Holme Trust, Bob Wilson of the Elsie Watkins Trust, Andy Jaworski, Christine Leonard of The Holme Trust, Deborah Chamberlain of Headley Parish Council, Anthony Williams of East Hampshire District Council and governor Helen Kempster.

The early years outdoor space will next be improved with a nature area. Country Market is donating soil and any other donations are welcome.
