THE wife of a frail 87-year-old Alton man has complained to the North Hampshire Hospital Basingstoke over the "thoughtless and unprofessional" treatment he received while in its care.
Ernest Zimmer, of Highridge, was suffering from severe pain because of a digestive condition and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital on the night of February 1, where he was admitted to the short stay ward.
