CAMPAIGNERS against the opening of a 'super quarry' in the new South Downs National Park at Kingsley are warning that the area would suffer decades of excavation and heavy lorries and a legacy of destruction.
The Save Our Local Countryside Campaig is opposing the proposals, which Tarmac, the operator, has indicated will be set out in a planning application to be made soon.
