COMMUTERS have been hit by hikes of more than £110 on annual tickets to London.
South West Trains increased prices by an average of three per cent across its network this week.
It takes a standard adult annual ticket between Alton and Waterloo to £3,856, a monthly season ticket to £432.80 and a peak-time Travelcard to £43.40.
While the fare rise is the lowest in four years, and is less than the 3.1 per cent cap enforced by the chancellor, George Osborne, commuters feel it is too much for a service that is not up to scratch.
