Steel pipes and a metal sheet were stolen during a dawn burglary at a shed in Odiham last weekend.

Hampshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following the incident around 6am at Archery Fields last Saturday (June 14).

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage should call 101 quoting 44250260672.

They have also urged shed and garage owners to review security as easy-to-break locks or padlocks are often used to protect valuables like a car, bike or lawnmower.

A spokesperson said: “An opportunistic burglar will often try a shed or garage first because they can get easier access to expensive items, as well as find the tools they need to break into a residential property.

“In short, lock it, alarm it, hide it and mark it.”
